    Prince of the Eastern Region opens the fourth edition of the exhibition of productive families "Sanaati 2018"

    On Sunday, December 9, 2018, the Prince of the Eastern Region His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz inaugurated the exhibition of productive families (Sanaati 2018) in its fourth edition.

    The exhibition is organized by Asharqia Chamber in cooperation with Dhahran Expo, as it has more than 340 productive families, a small trader and an incubator as well.

    It will continue until Thursday, December 13, and it will take place on Dhahran Expo, Dammam - Al Khobar coastal road.

     

    Professionalism

    His Highness honored the sponsors and supporters of the exhibition from governmental and private bodies.

    His Highness also received a shield bearing the identity of the exhibition.

    His Highness took a tour in the pavilions of the exhibition as he was keen to visit productive families and listen to them.

    During his tour in the exhibition accompanied by the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber and a number of Board members, HH Saud bin Naif expressed his admiration for the creativity of the productive families in the various fields and the professionalism that shown during the fourth edition of the exhibition, where the variety of family items that are presented to sell between clothing, perfumes, food, sweets, handicraft products and others.

     

    Season for productive families

    The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, honored the patronage of the Prince of the Eastern Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, to the exhibition of productive families (Sanaati 2018) in its fourth edition, and the great support that the productive families find from His Highness.

    He pointed out that the Chamber has worked during the last three editions of this exhibition as it represents a season for productive families to display their products and achieve their goals in relation to the definition of consumers.

    He was hoping that the exhibition will support the productive families and go to a wider horizon of self-employment in order to be added value in the national economy, which is growing by the hands of the people of this generous country.

    AlKhalidi pointed out that the official movement on productive families, which came within the objectives of Vision 2030, by making it as a value-added sector in the national economy and the subsequent approval of the Council of Ministers on the Executive Regulations to regulate the work of productive families, provides more attention to the productive families sector both in terms of funding for these families or adjust the way they work by making them self-reliant entities.

    It is the same as what Asharqia Chamber has been striving to achieve since the beginning in launching its annual exhibition of productive families.

    AlKhalidi said that the Chamber since the adoption of the idea of the exhibition, which aims to be productive families in the Eastern Region an active figure in the national economy, is taking into account the situation of productive families within their sphere of interest by continuing to launch initiatives and support activities.

    He noted that the Chamber had established a center for social responsibility and entrusted with the tasks of implementing activities related to the productive families and follow-up and work to develop them.

     

     

    Competitiveness

    The Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabil, said that Sanaati 2018 is considered as an outlet to showcase the products of productive families, further strengthens its strength and competitiveness towards greater attention to quality.

    He pointed out that this fourth edition comes as a continuation of the Chamber of paying great importance of the productive families, as being one of the actual applications of the practice of self-employment and able to contribute effectively to the development of the economy and stimulate the process of production and marketing and job creation.

     

    AlWabel pointed out that this year's exhibition includes a number of pavilions of about 341 pavilions, of which 299 are productive families who are offering a variety of products ranging from clothing products or food of all kinds, and perfume suites and decorative works, as there are nine suites to display traditional craft products, as well as the wings of associations and development centers incubating productive families.

    The exhibition witnessed the participation of (20) associations and development centers that embrace the work of productive families, in addition to about 13 corners of the small trader, which has achieved great success in previous years.

    In addition, a special corner is created to display the products of the correctional inmates of House Social Observation in Dammam, as well as the children's garden from the age of 3 - 10 years, which contains a number of offers attractive to children.

     

    AlWabel said that the exhibition will continue until next Thursday, December 13, for visitors, citizens and residents, who are keen to know and see what the productive families products that meet the needs of the family and children in a unique atmosphere that filled with joy and pleasure especially for children, as the Chamber was keen to provide a special corner for them to practice their favorite hobbies.

     

    Great success

    The three previous versions of the exhibition have been a great success both in terms of participation of productive families or visitors to the exhibition, who asked to repeat the experience and described it as excellent and they compared the shopping in the exhibition with shopping in large malls in terms of diversity and quality, as they said that they communicate with the productive families themselves.

    The market guide was distributed to visitors including the names of all participating productive families, in addition to their products and identification, as well as their addresses and sites on the Internet to facilitate the process of communication with them later.

    This opens the door for the continued marketing of products and participation of participating families throughout the year without relying on the exhibition only, as it is easy for the public after the exhibition to communicate with the productive families to request their products.​
